Need Prayer?
God listens to our prayers. He answers our prayers – always. Not
always as we want, for God is not a vending machine. He is the
Sovereign LORD of the Universe and all that is contained therein.
Besides which God is God. We are not. But prayer matters, it is a
privilege He allows us to partake in. Prayer changes things. Most of
all, it changes us.
We are told in scripture to make our requests known to God. We are told to come before the throne of God boldly – because Jesus Christ has and is making intercession for us. We are told that God is faithful, just, unchanging, all-powerful, and all-knowing, loving, compassionate, and good. To name just a few of His attributes. God knows what is best for us, so when we ask, we are to ask within His will. His sovereignty that knows no time limitation, no restrictions in knowledge. We are to ask in the name of Jesus.
Answers to our prayers include at least the following:

- No. Just no. It is not what is best for you.
